Grane dam
The assessment of the asphalt lining at Grane dam was conducted in two steps. First, the existing material samples / laboratory results taken above the water level were analysed in combination with a visual inspection (2020). Afterwards, 18 samples were taken underneath the water level (in cooperation with a specialized diving company) and analysed in the laboratory. Based on that, the condition of the asphalt lining was evaluated above and underneath the water level – qualitatively and quanitatively.
